When using effects in your mixer that have dry/wet settings, its often a good idea to run the effect as a global send effect. Just about all computer based mixers support FX sends. By sending the effect (usually with 100% wet settings) you can apply the same effect, with variable mix levels, over a variety of tracks. This saves processing power and can be much easier to manage. For instance, try making a 100% wet reverb effect as a send module in your mixer and then send different amounts of the effect to your individual drum tracks.
